It's a new week and a new day, in a new reformed UK! Short on numbers due to holidays and no response, so it was just Sue and me today. Sue was excellent and picked a Bakewell Walk from her Tea Shop Walks in Derbyshire. The 2 hours literally flew by and we were just hesitant twice with the book's directions, so all round a magnificent walk and as Sue's done so well with this one, she's in charge of the next one!
Walk Statistics: 1H 49M 15S covering 4.40 miles, circular walk on the Monsal Trail, then into Ashford in the Water and then twisting back onto Bakewell.
Sue invited her friend to join us at Bakewell, so whilst waiting we wandered in and around Bakewell. Then, we ended up in The Pointing Dog & Duck, my goodness gracious me as my mushroom starter was simply exquisite. Check it out http://www.pointingdog.co.uk/
