I had the most pulchritudinous walk with my fellow walkers from all over the Peak District and today we all met at The Old Dog, Spend Lane, Thorpe DE6 2AT and departed promptly at 10:30am. Glad the climb was at the beginning of the walk, then a precarious trek across some fields, through Tissington Village with the most idyllic scene with a pond full of fishes. Then, a hearty lunch at The Dog that also served up a smooth and delectable latte! Must go back to the Dog, as I think it's had a face lift? Not sure? Looks amazing inside. Here are my photos today:-
